Self-host
Run OpenD yourself
OpenD is open source under the MIT license. One image runs every role, so the smallest install is the app, a worker and Postgres.
Quick start
Up and running with one script
On a machine with Docker and Node 22, the setup script checks prerequisites, writes generated secrets, creates a private GitHub App, seeds your first organisation and starts Docker Compose.
- Safe to run again: it never changes a value already set
- A non-interactive mode for scripted installs
- Polling mode when GitHub cannot reach your server
- S3-compatible storage for split web and worker services
git clone https://github.com/desktopmachineshop/OpenD.git
cd OpenD
node deploy/setup.mjs
